speculation in vain.

Have you ever seen and thought about speculations all in vain? See cricket -game on t.v..in programms-extra innings or commetary on field etc etc ,,doing ,telling ,explalaining various speculations all in vain. Fingering the grass and clay on pitch and making so many speculations to be prooved wrong and again open for various new speculations. Any one -the player,pitch maaster,captain,old players,commentators,specialists(so called),can say anything relevant or irrelevant,whatever he likes or immediatly comes to his mind. But all to be prooved in vain. 

      but one thing is that is not in vain , that the aim  bread & butterof the ex,retd.,not fruiteful ,useless players etc is beeing fulfilled, on the cost of viewers.
